Time Out Challenge #235 - Photo Inspiration

Hello Everyone,

I'm stopping by to share  my DT post for Time Out current challenge #235 where we have to be inspired by the photo (shown below)... And this is what I've created.. I got inspired by Yellow flowers on the basket and the White wall behind...I have used couple of different brands from my stash to make this spring card...

Over to my card...

Our generous Sponsor is Doodle Bugs

Prize: $25 Store Credit

To make this card, I took White Card base and stenciled the background with Brick pattern from Itsy Bitsy using Texture paste. I let the card base air dry.

Meanwhile, I stamped the basket from STAMPlorations "Be Thankful" stamp set and this flower Bouquet from Waffle Flower stamp set called "Small Bouquet". I colored these images using Alcohol Markers and fussy cut it.

Once, the card base dried, I adhered the basket and then adhered the flowers using foam tape. Then, I added the die cut out sentiment "Congrats' from Your Next Stamp

To create some drama, I added the washi tape at one edge of the card stock and finally added some clear sequins to complete this Spring card.

I hope you get inspired and will join this challenge#235 at Time Out. This challenge is sponsored by
Doodle Bugs and  the Challenge winner will receive a $25.00 gift voucher to spend on their shop.

I can't wait to see how you get inspired by this photo.

Thank you so much for stopping by!!

  1. This is just wonderful, Deepti. I love the way you created the wall. The texture paste looks great. Your basket of flowers is wonderful and I love the added touch of the washi along the edge.

  2. Great idea to add bricks with texture paste as a background for your beautiful basket of flowers!

  3. Love how you put the flowers in the basket--beautiful card!

  4. Hi Deepti such a pretty card,I love your pretty yellow blooms in the lovely basket and the stenciled bricks add some lovely texture.

  5. This is beautiful. Love your combo of stamps, they work together very well! xx

  6. The little stripe of black and white balances your whole card; so clever! And that background brikes give a feeling of a sturdy wall in such a beautiful way! Hugs, Gerrina
